PDT Events

PDT Events is a student entertainment company, which specialises in organising university live music shows and nightclub events. PDT Events was formed back in 2008 where it was predominately based in the city of Nottingham. Since its inception, we have consistently delivered some of the biggest student events and have gone on to become one of the largest student university entertainment companies in Nottingham and the Midlands. As a result, we have gained a loyal client base over the years and cemented our reputation as a leading student entertainment provider in Nottingham. This is largely due to our marquee event named ‘Ice Scream Factory, a unique and distinguished brand of event which stands alone when in comparison to other university events across the country. The main unique selling point of this specific event is that ice cream is given out free in abundance to the people in the rave. This event now pulls in a minimum average of 2,500 university students across the country. This is partly due to the great promotion campaign behind it, with 40,000 flyers being brandished in different cities across the country. Alongside that PDT Events has a vast amount of people on its social network pages on Facebook and Twitter. Due to this event’s continuous success we have previously attracted financial sponsorship from Ben & Jerry’s and Haagen Dazs Other than Ice Scream Factory other recognisable PDT events include Yes We Can and Messy Meets Presidential. Yes We Can is our annual Black History Month live showcase tour. It started off touring unsigned bands and artists around cities in the Midlands and Yorkshire however, due to the increase in demand for this event we are now expanding to other cities; London, Manchester, Liverpool and in the Kent area. The last Yes We Can was in 2010 and we managed to attract an average attendance of 500 people for each leg of the tour without any headline act due to our aggressive promotion. Due to the nature and success of this tour we were able to work together with the NHS, ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) and the War Child charity as well as attract media attention from the BBC, local newspapers and magazines. This event has also been listed on the official BHM website.
